Configuring document and object tag properties
A repository's document properties and object tag properties are initially created when a publishing job imports the property definitions from a source vault. Thereafter, you can configure various elements of the properties to meet your requirements.
To configure document properties or object tag properties:
- In , select Repositories\<Repository>\Documents\Document Properties or select Repositories\<Repository>\Object Tags\Object Tag Properties accordingly. The current property sets are shown in the right pane. Expand a property set to view its properties. The dark colored columns are read-only. The light colored columns are editable.
- To filter the properties to make working with them more convenient, type part of the property name in Filter and click the Filter button
. The list of properties refreshes to show only the matching properties. To remove the filter, delete the text in Filter and click the button again.
- Select a property in the list and modify the Display Name value or select checkboxes in the Indexed or Lookup index columns. For information about selecting properties to be indexed, see About property indexes.
- Click Apply. If you selected properties to be indexed, a confirmation dialog box appears.
- Click Yes. The Rebuilding indexes dialog displays the progress as the indexes are rebuilt.
